Not really.:T Was hoping for a more clever and epic ending. Didn't care for the last battle against that alien(Gonde), but I really liked when they met the god-aliens.

Gantz aliens from Osaka Mission where Based on those ;D (every single one) ;D from the burning head guy, godzilla cow like monster, even Nuri ;D

I checked online and it seems you are right! I found a cool website about the Yokai and it has even lots of artwork about all the Yokai and the Inugami looks like the one in Gantz!

I see lots of people call this character in Gantz a Kitsune, maybe because his head-shape looks like a fox.
