I don't know. Never played that game. But from what I heard it is rather underwhelming. He turns into a boring generic dragon(so does he in other games too). :/
But I'm pretty sure in the right hands(like the Cuphead makers)he would be a tough boss and transform into different creatures that makes the battle more challenging.
