Description I do love that line from the play and how Edward V displays he's quite outspoken, introspective, albeit impressionable. He really is the son of his father, and in my opinion would've become a ruler as great as him, if not even greater. Shakespeare cleverly utilized his character in contrast to his younger brother's ego, making Richard brash and cocky towards their uncle, which unfortunately led to a grave situation, yet well aware of the fates of his three other uncles, just proves how confident and self-assured he was raised to be.

Unfortunately this memorable line from line 80 in the play eerily rings true: "So wise so young, they say, do never live long."
