That would be a dark yet believable twist!

This is why I feel that Mabel is, for all her likability as a character, not a good person.
Her morality is focused almost entirely around herself. If she wants to do something, then it's the right thing to do.

I geniunely liked that episode about cupid for taking a twist end to the whole morality of manipulating someone's emotions. Only gravity falls could pull that off.
That or Rick and Morty.

Venture Bros. has plenty of episodes that subvert widely held morality tropes too.
Though with that said,Β "The Love God" isn't among my well liked Gravity Falls Season 2 episodes. I understand what they were going for, but I don't think it worked. Except for the end credits song and montage, which was fucking brilliant: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3ZajBβ¦

Just be aware Venture Bros. first came out in 2004, so the animation is a bit low budget in the first few episodes, especially by today's standards , and the first season is generally considered the weakest. But from season 2 onwards the writing is great, and from season 4 onwards the animation is fantastic. The show is great at poking fun at superhero and supervillain tropes (this scene is from Season 2): www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfjj7Yβ¦

Not gonna bother me, saw bits of it before. And I can forgive bad animation if so long as the plot/story/premise is good.

Uh-oh.
The power has gone to Mabel's head, quick! Call the Ghost Rider!
...He's not here?
Well call Lewis instead, he looks close enough anyways.

You intended to writeΒ "canon". A cannon is an artillery weapon.

Who knew teeth could float, with the mouth?
(I do not mean anything mean by that, just the teeth looks like they are just hovering in mid air)

You can't apply regular rules to Mabel. She's always right and you are always wrong.

Yep, I assumed the Love Potion would get involved. I love Wendy's pose and facial expression in the first panel, and where Dipper's gaze is directed at.
Having read your recent twitter post and this description, I wish you a quick recovery and good health.
