Honestly, I think this is how Penny shouldβve turned out. Volume 7βs Penny made her death in Volume 3 meaningless as there was no repercussions.

I really hate to break it to you, but they kind of have everything theyΒ΄d need for that already:
- Military gear that is connected to a high-speed intranet connection.
- An AI they might just have pissed off.
- Tyrian and Arthur are on their way to Atlas, and the latter seems to know how to mess with Atlas military gear.
And yes, I am suggesting that Penny is mad at them for sending her to Vale.
Though, to be fair, Ruby couldΒ΄ve told Penny about PyrrhaΒ΄s semblance and advised her to tell Pyrrha her secret, just in case.
So yeah, someone with enough computer know-how (Arthur) could reprogram Penny to think that Ruby intentionally kept PyrrhaΒ΄s semblance a secret from her in order to have her destroyed.
