Yeah... I was supposed to be studying today, but instead I kept sketching this... And since erasing him would take a lot of time and large parts of my eraser, I figured I should scan him instead. Now compliment me!

Oho? Perhaps I should start scanning more doodles then, rather than just colored completed ones?

If you were to do that, I think some people might argue that you should put them in the scraps section. I'm too lazy to go there should anyone ever post some so I'd never see them. Plus, I think more people like your finished (colored) work more. >.> Your OCs just wouldn't feel the same without their hair or eyes colored...

Ah, but I didn't mean that my usual Organization works should be colorless, just that I should also as a bonus start to submit random sketches as well.

Good ones I suppose. I wouldn't want to upload pictures that put shame on my gallery.

wow this really reminds me of the type of stuff i used to doodle in class... Except this is mush better than what i used to do. I really like the weapon and face.

Heheh. Yes, this actually is a class doodle. Nostalgic, isn't it?
Thank you very much for the compliment. I'm glad it suited your tastes.

Wow! The armor is amazingly drawn. How I wish my doodles would look like this. O_O I'm so jealous because of your talent.

Heheh. Thank you very much. But I think it really varies. There are other things I'm not as good at drawing, like horses or elements.

Draw a man in armor, on a horse. Use the ice element!!!! Hah hah hah I just gave you a request Muhahahahahaha. But I guess it's up to you if you wanna draw them or not XD
By the way I'm asking you permission to submit my Xargas chibi. I'll of course give you credit for the character. Is that ok?

Noooooooo. Do not want (to). I still got tons of missions to do.
Ah, yes. Of course. Then I'll be able to post my opinion of it.

The armour reminds me slightly of Nitemare from Soul Calibur 2 ^^

Really now? Huh. Didn't think about that.
But Nitemare and Tim are so different personality wise.

Great work. This picture pwnz hard.

Indeed, this is Tim. He works in a garden during his spare time.
And thanks.

LonnKev In reply to Gargant [2008-06-13 18:52:46 +0000 UTC]
Uuuh, I'm bad.
Only because he looks like it, I thought he was a mean, children-killin, dark guy. But gardening sounds nice. o3o
π: 0 β©: 1
Gargant In reply to LonnKev [2008-06-13 19:09:32 +0000 UTC]
Geez, you really shouldn't judge people by appearance. He's quite a gentle and even shy kind of person. He also help old ladies across the street, help small lost children, slay dragons, etc. I mean, he walk with the halberd for support, like a walking stick, he wears the armor because he's a cautious guy and a knife can be useful when someone wants to slice some bread to smaller parts..
Wasn't that all just completely logical?
π: 0 β©: 1
LonnKev In reply to Gargant [2008-06-14 10:28:25 +0000 UTC]
Yes, yes, it was. And I am really sorry. D8

Gargant In reply to LonnKev [2008-06-14 13:10:51 +0000 UTC]
You shouldn't apologize to me - Apologize to Tim!
π: 0 β©: 1
LonnKev In reply to Gargant [2008-06-14 13:18:52 +0000 UTC]
I never said that I'd apologize. I only said that I am sorry. And even if it is the same, I never apologized to you. >8P
π: 0 β©: 1
Gargant In reply to LonnKev [2008-06-14 13:21:07 +0000 UTC]
Good. Because -I- don't need your apologies. Tim does.
And don't tell me you refuse to apologize to him? He haven't done you anything after all~ It'd be like calling a completely random female person 'fat'.
π: 0 β©: 1
LonnKev In reply to Gargant [2008-06-14 13:31:10 +0000 UTC]
Ididn't do anything to him either. I just thought something and for what I think I don't have to apologize as long as I don't tell people and they feel offended...
But I told you what I think so... crud! Your evilness defeated my unlogical logic.
Tim, I am sorry for what I thought/said. 8( Here, have a cookie

Gargant In reply to LonnKev [2008-06-14 20:47:06 +0000 UTC]
Exactly. Evil logic always been over unlogical logic.

Richard from LFG.com.

Hahaha! Right, I've seen this one, as well as some of the first pages of the webcomic.
Ah, but... Tim is not like that. He is a shy and gentle guy who works and cares with the plants in his garden during his spare time. He wouldn't harm a fly~

Tim is not the next Richard.

*tilts head* Hmmm.
Gargant, you've got me all envious. I could definitely learn a thing or five from you. I'm especially loving his weapons, but you always draw weapons really well. His armor is awesome.
Now you've got me wanting to go draw some stuff. I suppose that's good for Arahxs though, as she's the only one I ever DO draw. ahah.
Anyway, yes, brilliant job. I think it's awesome.

Gargant In reply to 0nn [2008-06-13 18:24:37 +0000 UTC]
Oho, a pile of compliments! This must be my lucky day! Thank you.
Heheh. But really though, I keep drawing monsters, armed warriors and ferocious predators whenever I wanna doodle, so I'm quite used to it. Those have been my main subject since longer than I can remember.
π: 0 β©: 1
0nn In reply to Gargant [2008-06-13 19:56:31 +0000 UTC]
Bahaha. Anyway, yeah. I always drew animals. I wish I drew armored warriors and monsters as well as you.
π: 0 β©: 1
Gargant In reply to 0nn [2008-06-13 20:03:43 +0000 UTC]
Oh? Why would you want that? Do you perhaps enjoy this topic as well?
π: 0 β©: 1
0nn In reply to Gargant [2008-06-13 20:09:57 +0000 UTC]
Very much so! Especially as of recent. Or maybe just the past few years. But, you know, armor covered animals don't quite hit the spot. Too bad I was a bit of a cliche artist child.
π: 0 β©: 1
Gargant In reply to 0nn [2008-06-13 20:18:40 +0000 UTC]
Well, you can use animals to form monstrous creatures. That's one of the reasons I decided to like biology.
Mix the structure of different animals and form a new one. Give them traits from different creatures, perhaps even form your own kind of animal.
And if you give them a humanoid form, granting them armor won't look too bad.
π: 0 β©: 1
0nn In reply to Gargant [2008-06-13 21:24:09 +0000 UTC]
That's true.
I just don't see a lot of animal genes mixing together nicely. Like, not look-wise, but attempting to keep the chimera alive. Oh, Fullmetal Alchemist, those episodes involving biology were brilliant.
π: 0 β©: 1
Gargant In reply to 0nn [2008-06-13 21:32:19 +0000 UTC]
Ah, but when it comes to art you need not worry much about such. Like you mentioned, chimeras are often through mythologies a combination between mammals and other not-mammals. But there are more than that. Cerberus the three headed dog with a snake head on its tail, dragons with their reptile bodies that doesn't resemble any specific reptiles, gryphon's that are a combination between lion and eagle, minotaurs that are half human and half bull - the list goes on. It's really all about using your imagination.
π: 0 β©: 1
0nn In reply to Gargant [2008-06-14 04:28:35 +0000 UTC]
Ahaha, this is true! Too bad most of the awesome chimeras are already thought of.
