Description I have been playing Bravely Second...
Whilst it isn't the original game, I have still thoroughly enjoyed it!

And as of a result... Cosplay Project Alternis is back on...
The art book had much clearer images of him in detail, so I decided to make a new concept that is much closer to the original look.
The silhouette in the first image is a 3D scan of me

Wow I'm very impressed! That's a really good idea and all the work just to get the proportions to fit to your body. Great!

This would make a badass costume. Also, do you own that 3D scanner or have access to one? I've only seen one small enough to fit on a desk--how accurate is it?

I used an Xbox 360 kinect to scan my body. It's rough, but accurate enough to model the armour to fit me. Just need to be careful with the helmet.

I didn't know XBox 360's scanner was that good! I remember it failing to read my motions at a museum though XD

It is a pretty bad piece of tech for motion capturing .
But there is PC software out there that can use its depth data to construct 3D models.
The models aren't perfect, and are messy. But it's good enough for the rough shape
