Ok, well I finaly finished all my coursework and to celebrate my new leash of freedom I decided to draw a new pic.I've recently been trying to increase the sense of realism in my style yet still retain the anime/manga look.
And so I decided to test it on Fran from Final Fantasy 12.
This will be inked and coloured .

I think you got it. Seems realistic, to a point and seems to keep an anime/manga feel. Although some refinment would be needed I think this is a very good start.

I think your style's developed far enough not to look anime-esque anymore. Some of your works still retain those qualities, namely the eyes, but the actual "genre" has some very blurry boundaries, so it's hard to define what really qualifies as "anime/manga".
Anywho, great work on this. I'm not familiar with the character because I wasn't really a big fan of FFXII. Can't wait to see the coloured version.

yeah it will indeed, just gotta clean up the lineart and shrink the ears a tad bit as they seem a lil big to me ^^
