I'm assuming this is a Metric paper wasp, but I cannot be sure. 🤔 He was just sitting here for me, letting me take some pictures of him. I should have squashed him afterwards, though, even though he was beautiful. My sister gets horrible reactions to wasp or bee stings, and unlike Honeybees, wasps don't serve much of a purpose for us around here.
