habitat: on vegetation, particularly on fleabane, samphire and fennel.
other info: a predatory species, preying on many species, mostly on honey bees. 14 mm long. flies short distances when threatened.

Aw I love these guys! they save our strawberry crop every year by all sorts of pesky Beatles . Their also the only ones willing to munch on a box elder beetle, so they can land in my room anytime <3.. As I learned last year their really people friendly too..
