Hello there!I recently started making concept art for a video game project.
This is the wannabe protagonist, who is interestingly enough named after me (more of a coincidence than a tribute xD).

The lighting is convincing, being darker and darker towards the bottom.
The pose is good, too. You could make the shading of his skin a bit smoother.
The shading fits the clothing, gives it a wrinkled, folded feel

He reminds me of a typical character of one of those zombiekiller games.The details of his suit are well done,as well as his face and hair.

I really liek the pose, the drawing and the light, it's very well done, and I think it's suitable for a videogame (I also like the fact that the character's face is not young and perfect, the aging on the face gives him personality

Only the face is detailed because I wanted to give focus on it; I realized now I could have done that in a more elegant way, but I was young and reckless.

It's a kind of survival/FPS, still in early stage of development.
The team hopes to make it commercial, we'll see what we can do.

I hope you can achieve what you envisioned! It usually turns out the complete opposite of what I had in mind but sometimes It's not that bad and I'll like it even more than the idea I had in mind. ^-^Ā

Yeah sometimes it happens to me too xD
But for example, here the face is worse than I pictured, but the rest looks better...
And I spent a lot more time on the face than the body!

Sometimes if you spend too much time on something it can make it look bad. Same with if you were to go overboard on the details. I noticed that with some of my arts but I always fix and edit it a billion times before posting. xD I'm the only person I know who will actually erase all the colors outside of the lines too for it to look perfect.Ā
