Here is a custom figure which I have been meaning to make for a while now, ever since the first "War Doctor Begins" boxset was announced in fact. Jonathon Carley has done an amazing job capturing the spirit of John Hurt in his performance of this forgotten incarnation of the Doctor and since he made his debut in the 50th anniversary special, it only felt fitting to debut my custom of a younger version of the War Doctor during the show's 60th anniversary year.

This was a fairly simple custom to make, one of NDWDesign's superb head sculpts on a "Night of the Doctor" body.

As for the picture itself, this was inspired by how I often imagined the Time War ever since I first heard the Doctor mention it in seasons one and two of the revived series and just always imagined there being a red sky across every world the war was fought on and everything just being on fire, almost like how Hell itself is often described and for a man who was so passionate about life and protecting it from harm, it's not hard to imagine the Time War was Hell for the Doctor.
