How easy it looks in cartoons and movies? Maximum - pair of minutes of funny gag with cheerish music. But irl it’s a bit [paaaainful] path.(i drew this picture after thinking how i can be better as artist and what mistakes i can fix as soon as possible..and got an insomnia night)

Also it’s my mini-tribute to this awesome artist: Montygog.
This his Flash Gordon piece is uber-inspiring (as well as other his stuff!). I love how on almost every his picture characters keep their eyes calm and silent.

It can be a bit disheartening when one illustration takes 20 hours to finish and the you start wondering how they can make animation with 24 frames per second haha. Well I suppose one gets faster with more practice.
