Description
This is basically a test for myself to mimic an existing style. It's far more important to learn than I once thought. I think it turned out fairly well, but I should have probably made the lines with vectors. Oh well. This seems like an idea that would have been done a million times before, but I couldn't find any instances of it. If you are aware of one, let me know. I'm interested in seeing other takes on the same subject.

Simultaneously cute and epic. I love his angry face.

I like seeing "paper" versions of other Nintendo characters. This could be a good avatar for somebody on an online forum.

Ah. Figures, then shouldn't he have a paper Midna instead of a paper Navi?

Oh, you got me. I just liked the costume details in TP, and Navi was just a quick something extra to throw in the composition. Although, the idea of a paper Midna intrigues me... hmm

I suppose that next you'll do a paper Zelda and paper Ganondorf?

Midna is probably where I would draw the line. I get bored easily.

Best Paper Link out there, but maybe the mouth should be a little lower?

The lines are kind of wobbly but other than that, it's awesome. ^_^

The wobbliness adds to the 'aper' feel, I think.

Yeah, that's what I get for trying it by hand and why I mentioned I should have made the lines with vectors to ensure they were smooth. I still might go back and fix some of them.

I'd play it. I might leak such an idea to some of the buds I have that make flash games...
A good LoZ flash game of a simplistic style would be cool, as is this picture.

Pretty much what BluesGumi said. It's the style used in the Paper Mario series of games.

Ah, thanks! I see what you mean about it being so hard to find. I've only seen in on Paper Mario so far. A very peculiar type of style indeed! Maybe you already know of it, but people have compared its style with that of PaRappa the Rapper , the man behind that style is Rodney Greenblat... It's still a little different, but i guess styles can come in different flavors
