This is the artpost for the reverse challenge in the 2nd round of the dc_dystopia challenge over at LJ.The wonderful king_stitch wrote a heartbreaking, beautiful story for it, please make sure to go read it.
Some things never change. Castiel watches Dean for all his life and sees him grow into a strong hunter. He is always there at the sideline and even when his own fate changes for the worse, he still is there at night to watch over Dean's sleep.
Summary of the story: Castiel is assigned a new role from Heaven: Guardian Angel. Extremely rare, the life of a Guardian Angel is a hard one, though considered a great honor. To be granted such a responsibility, Castiel vowed to forever protect the life of Dean Winchester. When he first meets his charge though, things don't go quite as expected. Castiel finds himself breaking every rule in the book and starts to wonder if he can't create his own purpose as a Guardian Angel.

Daaaaaaaaaanke. Ich hab genau dasselbe GefΓΌhl bei den beiden. So nah, und gerade wenn man denkt, jetzt ist alles gut, urrrrgh. Die Frustration. Ich war ja absolut gegen Cas am Anfang, hab ihn wirklich nicht gemocht. Ich dachte, er macht zwischen Dean und Sam alles kaputt. Aber dann ist er mir so ans Herz gewachsen, was auch nicht besser war, weils genauso weh tut.

But as I can see, there is a story of this art writing by..you, right? Our book for Jensen will be like John Winchester's diary and it would be great if you rewrote it as a story telling by Dean so we can put it in our book. What do you think?
