challenged me to draw Flash Gordon after I commented on how great of a drawing he did on Mr. Gordon seen here: [link]So in turn, I had to produce something that was on par with his masterful artwork. This one was a long time coming, but I am pretty happy with the end result. If I could color properly, I would be dangerous!

Awesomesauce! I'm glad you took this challenge, Lee and I'm glad to see Mr. Gordon with his other known outfit!
You DO colour well, mate and what I love most about your style is that you keep it simple, and to the point, which befits such a straightforward hero as Flash Gordon.
I especially love the space backdrop, though you might want to try and do stars of different sizes next time, to give the impression of volume in space that there's when you look out into the night. If they're all the same size, you loose that sense of depth.
