Description
This is The Watchman and he is my newest project. I really want to get something started with sequential art and story telling, so I have been playing around with a character idea that I would not get bored of too quickly. The Watchman is the final product of my labors and his backstory is still being written as well as all the minor details, but expect most of my artwork in the future to revolve around him and his story. Sit back relax, and enjoy the ride folks, it's going to be a fun one!EDIT: I changed the hourglass to get away from the black widow feel, thanks

Seriously, though, the costume is awesome. The watch pun is a nice touch; it gives a the character a bit of duality, going from the gun and menacing look to the slightly ridiculous accessory. Can't wait to see more.

Cool helmet. And I like the simplicity of the rest of the suit. This guy already looks calculating and not to be messed with. (At first glance I also thought black widow symbol. Oops, lol.) Really looking forward to more of his story and seeing some comic pages. Very intruiiiiiging.

don't wanna rain on your parade and if you decide to keep it through i'll get in line to get it but...
the watchman title was kinda overused... too many loose project have this name... you need a little more uniqueness to this fine character and it would be a shame for it to fall becuz of being second to the watchmen title and similarity...
allso the black widdow insignia looks weird with the name but that's just my opinion...

But I think the hourglass design should be more like semi-circles rather than triangles. Some people might confuse it with a black widow design.

More of a symbolic image than anything else. I want to tie in a catch phrase like , "your time is up" or something like that.

"It's your time" is more of something to say when walking out of the shadows, gun/watch in hand, confronting the victim from behind as you introduce the situation.
"Your time is up" sounds like what he would say while standing over the already beaten to the brink of consciousness victim, ready to deliver the final blow.
