Cover to GI JOE #2 written by the main man on GI JOE these days, Chuck Dixon. There's another version of this cover I'll post when the issue comes out.Man, I had a ton of fun doing this one. I love drawing Zartan, and it was my first chance to draw Flint on a cover. My memories of playing with these toys for hours never are far from my mind when I'm working on these.

I dig what you're doing with this stuff. You color the line work within the figures but the outlines stay black. Very cool.
I'm also digging the subtle patterns. Are you inking in Illustrator?

I've greatly enjoyed your GI Joe work-- and it's only gotten better and better over time. This piece is freakin' sweet, and I am super jealous that you get to work on these characters!
