You don't have to make a comic, thats on me. All you have to do is describe your challenge and how you'd lose against Orion.


And yes, you wouldn't be able to compete if you have to bring up the topic of 'timeline splitting', whatever that means.

the timeline splitting would work so that it wouldn't conflict with other timelines or other challenges thus basically making it so that the part where my OC comes in the timeline branches to one where it doesn't influence others..... ( I may be overworking myself trying to make things more complicated than I need to though >.<)

Why would conflicting timelines matter? This is an open contest to everyone following the blog. Timelines mean nothing.

Now then, if there is somekind of problem with your character that requires altering time, well that triggers some red flags.

........ yeah I guess I'm thinking things through too much thinking that it would all be in one contest arena like a thing where all the OC's come together for a tournament and they all face him in different rounds XD I really need to stop over thinking things I guess so can I send you my scenario I guess in some notes?

It is one area, which is stated specifically. And it is a pseudo-tournament of sorts, exactly like what is currently running in the Rightful Heir comic. Worrying about timelines tells me your character does something that doesn't conform to the rules.

If that isn't the case and it's just flights of fancy, then by all means so long as the criteria of the contest are followed.

its not the case or at least I hope its not (one thing is that both my OC's are Alicorns however if you want I could basically give them a legitimate handicap if I need to (and by legitimate I mean like for example Dawn Heart my main OC could have had an accident which causes him to loose a portion of his magic) just a thought)

The handicap is you being locked to something that you and Orion can do. And also writing how you lose at the challenge you issue.

The whole point of me making the stipulations is to weed out the people who make characters that crush worlds with a thought because it's cool and so on. The overpowered for no reason crap that annoys me. Hence why you talking about time and whatnot triggered red flags.


So, what your character does is entirely up to you. So long as it meets the criteria.

^.^' well technically I guess you could say that it is "possible" for either of my OC's to do something similar to reality breaking abilities but either way those are extremely draining techniques that unless specific circumstance are met will result in extreme magic deprivation due to overexertion and just how much those things do.... so yea they can technically be called overpowered especially in some role-plays I've done in the past with some friends but since my main OC Dawn Heart has time/space/reality magic it technically makes it so depending on the place he's in at the time his power shifts to reflect the version of himself in that reality which in my opinion makes it a little bit easier to explain things since it gives handicaps easier to come by like say he went to a dimension with gods everywhere he'd be extremely OP there but in another where lets say the strongest being is a regular mage he would be at most slightly stronger than that but not to the point of being able to defeat everything.

on the challenge I'd probably have Dawn Heart challenge Orion to either a match of spell creation ( I.E being able to develop a new spell or something similar) or a match of tactics. In case of a loss Dawn Heart would most likely accept the outcome and if impressed enough might actually give Orion a something as a respect trophy maybe something from one of the other multiverses he's visited..... either way I can definitely say that the outcome is in part I guess entirely up to you as I myself will be happy to accept defeat even if my OC did his best.
