I can slip away from you into the cracks, leaving you peeking from the corner of a hazy eye with only these delusions and ghost pains to keep you company. Gee, now I've gone and started shaking. No I mean it. I can color (paint) ok but yeah, the whole drawing and creating thing evades me. It's very discouraging.
However, I've been trying to solve my problem instead of wallow, and think of some fruitful way for me to enhance my painting skills in some meaningful way.
Problem is, only really comic books need colorists.. and that isn't really my thing.
So, someday I'll figure something out!

Awesome, just awesome, and you know the cat is aging, the cat needed to find "the new beginning". And Mercury (nice!), Mercury you can make darn sure the landing is a good one, perhaps a great one. Deserves as much, in the very least, love, respect, safety, sanctuary, warmth and comfort ... and love.

So this must be the pencilled piece you've talked about. It's simply gorgeous in its complexity. The gradient and subtle tonal variations really help draw the eyes where they need to be while bringing out the forms nicely without ruining the original pencil shadings. You're definitely one of the few who can combine both mediums in a very elegant way.
