yeah deviantart still do take the 20%,
but it is more practical for both the seller and the buyer.
since after paying the buyer can directly download from deviantart,
and the seller doesnt have to manually send the file.
they also have a preview of the file list(aka file name and size) that is included in the purchase
and if the buyer lose the file, they can always come back the page and redownload.
the down point is that you wont be able to know who bought the file,
but usually people just tell the buyers to leave a "purchased!" comment.
(by experience, only half of the buyers do leave a comment,
but you will know when someone make a purchase even if you do not know who did it)
