Drawing Mario princesses made me create my own. ◠‿◠

Opal,Pearl and Agate are the three sister princesses of the Azure Kingdom,a land very rich in water and minerals,inspired by Southern Africa. Each of them governs a specific part of the kingdom,each of them touched by a different body of water: Opal,the eldest,administers the Riverside,a thriving jungle with waterfalls and streams; Pearl, the second, administers the Seaside and its wonderfully crystalline waters,while the youngest,Agate,governs the Lakeside,located up on the mountains,where the moon touches the big blue mirror.

Among the three sisters,Opal is the most resolute and competitive one. The vitality of the area she governs makes her more pragmatic than the other two; as the eldest,she has a big sense of responsibility,protecting her sisters as much as possible,but she fears they can’t manage to take command when she’s not there. Sometimes,though,she tends to be very harsh on herself.

The second sister,Pearl,is very calm and relaxed. She’s an early bird and likes taking strolls on the beach when the sun rises; she’s very afraid of the dark and tries to challenge herself to overcome the fear,failing miserably most of the time. She loves elegance and the color pink,which she wears in casual occasions instead of the usual light blue.

The youngest,Agate,is very shy and ingenious. She loves to read and observe her surrounding with a scientific point of view, being particularly fascinated by the moon and its influence of water bodies. She talks little and is often embarrassed with people,especially other princesses.
