Couple ideas here... since hes a blacksmith and an old one at that he should have more scar tissue on his arms plenty of burn scars and cuts on his forearms and tiny burns and longer scars on his upper arms from having sparks flying back at him and bumping into still hot swords and stuff. scars on the forearms are fairly obvius i mean he has his hands on knives swords arrows all red hot out of the fire... hes clearly going to have a shitload of scars showing his worth as a blacksmith. also his beard should be singed black and curly in places. speaking of black and curly a bit of body hair up high wouldnt hurt either... also one of those bell shaped old english pipes wouldnt look out of place in his mouth. but all my idears aside this is an AMAZING picture... what game was this for? kinda looks like fable or something.... I love fantasy RPG games.

as for constructive critisms... I would say that the objects on the table look rather flat... but that's about all that I can see. I do enjoy the armour you've got on the wall there! Rendered very nicely ^_^
