The cloned trait won't change already made Servos. That's the point.
The edited trait will remove voices, walkstyle, idles, and visual effects from existing Servos. But the Servo's look is controlled by traits and you'll need to use cheats to remove them that changing your Sims look.
Also other mods might conflict with Servos. I know Wicked Whims makes them look like regular Sims.

Again, though. After you use that cheat you have to go into create a sim. So you missed the last step.
Removing the outfit trait lets you edit your robot sim. After that you still have to go into CAS to edit it. The cheat does not remove the Servo outfit automatically.

Both cloned and edited versions can do that.
The cloned trait is a clone of the trait itself. So that the real Servos are unaffected.
The edited trait is the trait edited so that you can fully customize the Servos created in-game including whether they have the voice or not, look like robots or not, have the walkstyle or not.
For both you have to use cheats to apply or remove elements you want.
How to edit a Servo depends if you want to edit a robot that exists already or if you want to make an existing Sim into a Servo.

I don't think that has anything to do with my mod. It sounds like you have some CC on your sim. There's nothing in the cloned trait that affects how your Sim dresses.
I just tested it out. Are you sure you made a robot from a regular Sim? When I did this the eyes didn't appear. The eyes are set to appear only for Sims with the real main robot trait.
Is it possible that you put all three packages in your mods folder? You must only choose one.

It is a little hard to understand the issue. But I'll try.
1) Wicked Whims makes Servos look like normal people after they're made. I don't know if they've updated it since I last checked. I haven't used it in a while. It could be something in there is interfering with your Servo.
2) With the edited trait. After you use cheats to remove the outfit trait you can bring your robot into CAS and modify it there. Of course it won't look like a normal sim automatically. After all, I want the option of Servos looking like default Servos too. The outfit trait just constantly applies the official Servo outfit. So if you used copy/paste from MCC the game's trait would overwrite that. That's why it has to be removed before you bring it into CAS.
3) The cloned trait shouldn't have any restrictions in editing in CAS. I don't know what you mean by "load". Do you mean in CAS? (That is "create a sim".)

My tests do show cloned trait sims charging. But none of the Servos charge very well, even the official ones. Somehow they seem to snap out of it easily. I'll run some more tests, but it doesn't seem more broken than normal.

Well, no. They don't in my game. It's a trait, once it's applied it's applied. I'm not sure what's ging on in your game.

This doesn't happen in my game. I don't know what you're doing. Maybe you actually haven't applied the trait correctly? Because charging isn't gender based. Plus, I did test the other day on both genders and it worked.

i want to ask, to apply this mod, are we have to build a new Servo, or just give the traits to the sim we play?

Gauntlet101010 In reply to FidellisXy [2020-04-22 13:57:21 +0000 UTC]
You can apply the cheats after you build your own Servo! Just remember: if you want to change his look you have to remove the traits relating to his outfit first.

I have a doubt. This mod is only to change the appearance of Servos to look like the examples of the image or it works as well to make Servos look "human"? (Like it's just another Sim but it's a Servo).
