Anybody listen to Kevin Smith's Fat Man on Batman podcast? There was a recent one where he offered some commentary on the original 1989 Batman movie, and it made me want to draw this. Still, to this day, it's one of my favorite movies of all-time.www.facebook.com/gavinmichelliart

One of my favorite podcasts. I'm not sure if it was that episode where Kevin SmithΒ referenced that Starlog Magazine with the article where the Batman movie was discussed that had Bill Murray being cast in the role; but I actually have that old issue.

Oh, it's hilarious.Β Kev has great guests, too...Greg Capullo, Scott Snyder, Alan Burnett, Jim Lee, Mark Hammil...if Smith weren't entertaining enough by himself (which he is), the guests would more than make up for it.

I have listened to the Kevin Conroy one. Love it! Especially the fact he roomed with Robin Williams and hung out with Christopher Reeve!

There are some great versions of the Bat, but this one is definitely in my top 5.

If I had a list, Keaton Batman would be number #1 with the Bruce Timm animated one as #2.

I think my favorite version is probably the Arkham Asylum/City version, especially when it comes down to visual character design.Β That's just an awesome looking Batman.
