You are too kind, sir I never really looked at Bisley very much, but Joe Mad and Joe Q are two of my biggest influences.

Juz saying what i see bro... Can definitely see the Joe Q style shades and lines on the muscle and the Joe Mad anatomy...i dont know why i said Bisley but i can see something in this piece... maybe the darkness and anatomy too?
Its a shame we dont see much of the two Joes artworks nowadays... they were my fave artists as well.

Love it, wish you would finish it. The two gods are just so cool.

Hahaha, thanks! These are actually a few years old (I have a lot of stuff in progress right now, but nothing is finished, so I posted this because I hadn't posted in a while), so I doubt I'll finish them. But hey, I guess if the demand is high enough, I could always finish them off Thanks for the fav!

Hahaha, this drawing is pretty old, so I doubt I'm going to get to the other gods. I'm glad you like it, though

Thanks very much! The half ink, half pencil look is just because it's not finished, hahaha, but I'm glad you like it!

Sweet! I love this. I've been designing some gods myself, so I'm wondering how you would do Osiris. I've already done a preliminary drawing, but I need to push it a bit more. I'll post it soon and you can let me know what you think.

Hmmm...I think I would make Osiris look kinda corpse-like. I equated Hades with Satan (hence the horns), but I don't know if I would do that with Osiris. Since he's commonly depicted with green skin, he's the god of the underworld, and he isn't shown with an animal head like most Egyptian gods, I would totally zombify him But that's just me, man. I'm sure you'll come up with something awesome, and I can't wait to see it!

I made a mistake. I meant I wanted to see your take on Anhur, the Egyptian god of war. That's right up your alley!
My take on Osiris is a king of the gods role like Odin. I drew him HUGE. The zombie thing is popular now, and you mistake his green for simple death, when he also represents fertility(of the land). I'm sure I need to read more on him, but I was only going for a very loose interpretation of him for my needs.

Hmmmm...I don't know much about him. I scanned the Wiki article about him, and he seems to be a pretty standard war god type. It also says that he's identified with Nubia, and since that area is sub-Saharan, it would be a good chance to throw a darker skinned character into the mix. But, the Egyptians have a few different war dieties that have a much more specific description, so you might want to look into them. Bast is part cat, and Monthu is part falcon. Both could be pretty cool, visually.

I picked Anhur precisely for for the Nubian identification. Anhur is depicted to have a lion head in many references so he's easily as interesting(and they are interesting and on my list too)as the others you name.

Hurm, I didn't know that Yeah, dude, it might even be cool to work the animal characteristics in more subtly than they're depicted. Like, you could give Anhur long hair, large canines, and cat eyes, but other than that make him look human. It would definitely make him look ferocious and warrior-like.
