On the contrary, the blade from Supernatural is inspired by Samson! In the Bible, Cain's weapon isn't named specifically, but Samson wields the jawbone of an ass in The Book of Judges. The Supernatural writers cleverly took Samson's weapon and gave it to Cain, then renamed it "The First Blade".

That is actually a donkey's jawbone, which is his biblical weapon. I couldn't make it too big, hahaha.
