After seeing the big She-ra reveal a couple of days ago, I decided to do this more action-oriented, Voltron-inspired design. I've been really enjoying how recent artists and sculptors have used the Greco-Roman pteruges as part of her skirt, so I incorporated that into the design. She's still quite muscular, but now her musculature is defined, instead of having Steven Universe style treetrunk limbs. Also, this version has plenty of references to He-man and Eternia, instead of removing all traces as the official version has.If you like the new design, obviously I don't mean any disrespect. You're free to like whatever you want.

Thank you! Honestly, they could have drawn a straight-up man, and I would have been fine if the art style and costume were better. Between the bunny ears, the huge Rob Liefeld shoulder pads and the bike shorts, I just think the new costume is bizarre. And the art style looks like that same Steven Universe style that we're seeing everywhere right now, and it makes the show look silly. That's fine if it will actually be a comedy, but She-ra isn't supposed to be a comedy. It's supposed to be an action show with a few comedy relief characters.
