Okay, so I had this wacky idea...What if Faker (the most criminally under-used character in MOTU) usurped Skeletor as lord of Snake Mountain? Since he can never fully take He-man's place, as he was programmed to do, the most obvious course of action to his machine mind would be to take the place of his creator. To replace He-man, he needs a certain spell, but to replace Skeletor, all he would need to do is mutilate his face. And, since he has He-man's stregnth, who could stop him? Who would want to, since Skeletor's always abusing his minions anyway?
I dunno. It's just an idea.

I really like that idea a lot. Faker is obscenely popular for a He-Man clone surpised they never used him much in the 200x series.

Yeah, he was only released as a lame ass variant. I think they made one of those new "staction figures" of him, but I can't find 'em anywhere!

I'm glad you got such a kick out of it! Y'know, you're the first person to comment on the actual concept. Faker was always one of my favorite toys, but they never did anything with him in the cartoon (except for, like, 8 seconds in one ep). Thanks for commenting.

No problem Gavin!! Their were a bunch of characters that they had toys for that weren't in the cartoon though weren't their?? I guess I always thought that the cartoon and toys weren't necessarily directly connected. Largely because origianlly there wasn't a sorceress....I think it was Teela at first, with that snake hood thing and staff. And the skeletor and Heman toys came with two sword that you had to combine to make one(which also wasn't in the cartoon) and their was no Orko in the toyline(at first) or a Cringer for that matter(never I don't think). Plus ManAtArms toy didn't have the sventies porn star mustache like the cartoon!! LOL!! Granted I am talking about the original cartoon, I never saw the revamp that came out in teh ninetees I believe, oh wait their were two revamps weren't there?? Never saw those either, only the original cartoon.

Yeah, the toys and cartoon were definitely two seperate things. In fact, the mini-comics that came with the toys said that He-man was a wandering barbarian with no secret identity, and whoever combined both halves of the power sword would be able to...do something, I don't know. He-man.org has the mini-comics posted [link] if you feel like perusing, plus they have a ton of other He-man related stuff.

I was thinking about it; there's a ton of awesome Lion-o art on DA. As a matter of fact, this one just blew me away [link] . I do love me some Thundercats, that's for sure.

yeah thats a a cool pic. You're a really good artist though, you could do something equally good. It's upto you mate. just draw what ever you enjoy drawing.
I'll have to think of some other 80's cartoon characters you might like to draw.
