Colored...with MARKERS?!? Yeah, I color IRL sometimes
This one was done with the good ol' Prismacolor markers. I went a little Spawn-esque with his cape, but I think he turned out okay. BTW this piece (along with a bunch of other ones) is on sale on ebay [link] There are only two days left to bid, and nobody has bid yet, so go for it. Also, if you don't like ebay and would rather deal with me directly, just shoot me a note and I'll yank it off of the auction block and sell it to you directly.

Have you ever seen that issue of Spawn where Superman shows up? Well, he's kinda shadowy for copyright reasons. It's #10, I think. His cape is huge and awesome.

That's exactly what I was going for!! I wanted the viewer to sort of feel the power being given off by this guy, even though he is just standing there. Thanks so much!

Artworks like this is the reason why I never believe digital is better than traditional, in fact I feel trad has a more personal touch to it

Hahaha, the critique I left that guy was actually written by the "Critique-O-Matic" [link] , which was actually created by this same deviant. Most of his stuff is very comical. I appreciate the kind words about my sketch, though
I'm actually working on a boxing piece right now that I really think you'll like. There's no nudity or sexualization of the female combatants, but I still think you'll enjoy seeing it. I think the person who commissioned it is one of your watchers, actually.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I also prefer Supes with the more flowing regal looking cape, and I always thought that the short cape was more Captain Marvel's thing.
