charcoal on primed or unprimed canvas? i would go crazy if the charcoal on my piece moved around or slipped off the surface! excellent work though

Yeah it's primed with gesso , about 4 layers. I probably could of done with another couple.

I've tried charcoal on canvas before and I must say I hated it more than I did using it on paper. This been said I can thoroughly enjoy your work for it's attention to detail and and the way you've achieved the tonal variations
