Heeeeey, here's a snippet of Plum's latest adventure campaign over on Patreon. Plum is a character created by my Patrons and they get to decide the choices she makes in D&D style adventures.

There is something decidedly off about this town. You think to yourself as your horse makes it over the hill and the settlement comes into view. From this vantage point you should be able to see people mulling about the place on their usual day to day business. Usually you’d expect to see some amount of people coming and going in and out of the town as well yet there seems to be no activity at all.

As you get closer you hear noises on the wind. A human wouldn’t have heard from this distance but you can pick it up. Moaning, screaming, grunting. But not just coming from one or two people. More like a whole town's worth. What could be going on here?

“No. I’m with the Gawk Inn Adventurers Guild” you reply, quizzically examining the man’s face. His expression would suggest he wasn’t exactly enjoying what was happening and yet he didn’t seem to be able to stop.

A curse? That captures your attention.
