Aah, I know what you mean (though I also really love Silent Hill 2 as well! 
I loved the carousal part, it's just so spooky and unsettling (especially with those twitching and bloody horses!) ^_^

Yep, I played Clow Tower 3 and Silent Hill 3 all by myself, generally was my old brother who played all type of videogames like FF, Resident Evil, Castlevania etc X3
