Description
Inadvertently placed my freshly mixed mojito infront of a tealight while sitting down and just had to grab a quick shot of it.Related content

I snapped a shot of champagne like this once. It's so pretty. The first time I ever saw this effect irl I was like OOOOH.

Certainly has a magic feel to it, one wonders what effect drinking it would give.

Tell me about it! I tried a pre mixed mojito once when I was late for a bbq and didn't have the time to buy the necessary ingredients, it tasted so bland, like your every day lime drink in a can with a little mint flavouring and a slight alcoholic twist. Time will tell if they ever get it right but I'm not holding my breath.

Man I learned my lesson for pre mixed stuff, it didn't even go over wel with the younger crowd. SO what I do is I usually bring it all the to the party not Unmixed if I do not have the time to make it up at home and I mix it there and do it all fancy like and people tend to like that ^.^

Thanks I've been to the same bar again since this shot but haven't been able to get any more decent shots (usually the table has had some drinks spilt on it, etc) I was lucky in this one the table had been wiped clean just before we sat down

Thanks That place is usually a nightmare to take photos in because it's so dim but this shot came out really well ^^

Lol However your comment has reminded me that I have a glass back at home which has some LED's in the bottom, when I go through the phase that every photographer seems to when taking shots of drops of water or food dye I should give it a shot with that glass ^^
Thanks for your comment though

The hint's in the name It's a Mojito (pronounced Moe-hee-toe), 2 shots of white rum, 2 heaped tea spoons or sugar, a handful of mint leaves, 2 lime quarters, the lot is crushed with a pestle, after which you fill the glass with crushed ice, give it a stir and top up with a quick dash of soda water ^^ Refreshing, sharp and sweep, one of my favourites

This is amazing, I love how the colours blend in and how the mojito vibrant colours just stand out.
Simply awesome.

Thanks ^^ I find it's actually got a nearly rustic feel to it even though the shot was taken with standard settings and the colours weren't post-processed
