PFC Thomas Wilson (Right) and Corporal Will Tipton (Left) alongside an M1A1 Abrams MBT (Nicknamed ‘Here We Go Again’ with two stripes along the barrel representing tank kills during Operation: Desert Storm) and a M2 Bradley IFV (both members of the 3rd Infantry Division) passing the remains of a platoon of B1 Battle Droids during the Battle of Charleston (With the USS Yorktown (CV-10) viewable in the background acting as a museum ship). This engagement, which lasted from August 22-23, 1994 would see severe US terrestrial, naval and airborne casualties but result in the near complete destruction of the attacking CIS forces. This would make it one of the most costly for both sides of what came to be known as the ‘Sol Campaign’.
