Thanks so much to JDFB422 for dusting off my old commander Dune

On the distant planet of Corroda a battalion known as the 533rd Desert Recon Battalion were given the task of investigating reported rumours of separatist activity on the world. After arriving on the planet and spending a total of eighteen rotations searching for CIS forces they found the battle droids mining an extremely dangerous material known as corrodium. This material when refined was known for its fast acting corrosive properties when mixed in with highly volatile substances and was thought to be completely excavated from the planet. When reviewing the data that was recovered from the droids commander Dune discerned that his battalion was under manned and ill equipped to handle a dangerous experimental weapon. The commander attempted to contact the so called “Experimental battalion” who were known for dealing with these kinds of dangerous weapons however he believed that he had failed to reach them. When the next rotation began the 533rd were immediately attacked by the separatist forces and spent the next hour attempting to hold their base camp from the enemy advances and when all seemed lost. The 422nd Experimental battalion arrived just in time to give Dune and his men's the assistance they desperately needed to repel the droid assault force from wiping them out completely. After fending off the droids attack on the 533rds base camp the commander of the 422nd formally introduces himself and his battalion to Dune and his troopers then asks for a full report on the situation. Once Dune delivered a thorough report to the commander he decided that this was indeed a matter of great concern to 422nd and agreed to assist him and his clones to stop sepratist on Corrada. Before continuing however the 422nds commander used a device to alter his mens armour colours to match that of Dune and his men to be better camouflaged to the desert terrain. Thus began the joint operation between two battalions.
