”The Confederate Trooper (commonly nicknamed as CIS Troopers or Separatist Troopers) is the backbone unit of the organic legions within the Confederate military. While not as large in number as their battle droid counterparts, they still make up a sizable portion of the military. Created when the Confederacy broke away from the Republic following the end of the Jedi Civil War, they are considered the counterpart to the Republic’s Clone Troopers and Regulars.

Well armed and trained, their devotion to the Confederacy (thanks to a healthy dose of propaganda and indoctrination from a young age) makes them ideal foot soldiers. Their standard weapon is the E-7 blaster rifle, an upgraded version of the E-5 with the upgrades meant to make it more suited to organics. It’s armor is made up from the shells of B1 and B2 battledroids to help invoke the image of the Confederacy’s droid legions.

While the Republic’s Clone Troopers inspire hope, the CIS Troopers instead provoke an image of militarism and fear among it’s enemies. And each trooper in the Confederacy awaits the day they are unleashed upon their enemies.”
