    I love Anna Kendrick, and in my mind I always imagine her a most affable creature, incapable of doing the slightest thing to hurt the heart of a tiny man. But here, it’s clear that, as she’s getting ready to leave, she’s humming “Cups“, just to add to his misery. Poor little guy.

    I don’t often think of this… in fact, I hardly ever do wonder what it would be like to keep a shrunken man, and wake up one day needing more. In my mind, he’s all she needs. But what if one day, that was not the case? What if, one day she decided she required something a bit… more?

    Then, she can do whatever she wants: she can bring home a man her size, and proceed to do as she wants with him in front of the little guy (and even “invite” him to join them); or she can preserve the little guy’s feelings, and spare him the indignity, the hurt of seeing her with another man, of seeing what that other man can do, that he no longer can, that he hasn’t been able to do since she shrank him.

    Interesting story.

    As to the technicality of the collage itself, it’s classic Gcode. Woman as the background; tiny man observing from the foreground. It’s something I like to do myself, as it’s a simple, effective way to build interaction. No need to deal with difficult shadows, or meddle much with eye contact, at least this time. As always, I’m glad you chose a physically appealing little guy. I like to imagine that’s the sate of apparel in which she keeps him.
