Never been in one of those. I am too young...

This comes about from a friend of mine... We were talking one day about the trousers old ladies wear. They are always a bit too short for their legs and the bum part looks like it has huge Tena Lady pads to remove all trace of what was once a sexy little behind... The trousers are more often than not beige... Possibly navy blue or grey. Now you can be an official old lady trouser watcher... I have converted a great many people to this auspicious new hobby. However the shops that sell these trousers may be in short supply (just like the legs of the trousers) I believe old ladies can be seen stumbling into British Home Stores either at the crack of dawn or just before closing time to buy these strange garments. This is the only known place so far in my investigations that actually sells them. The other way to get this look is to obtains a Littlewoods catalogue, buy longer trousers and get someone who has lost their sight to shorten them, with luck you will get one leg slightly longer than the other...

The essential part of finishing this look is to make absolutely certain the trousers are impeccably creased, like razor blades, front and back...

Some call it tailoring, to me it is hilarious. Well worth grabbing the window seat in an expensive coffee shop and spending half and hour chuckling to oneself...
