Description
Since so long I wanted to draw the Fell Handplates Gaster and the goop friend, so why not both?It's curious how this angel Gaster can be intimidating or provoque that feeling that something isn't right, can't be that perfect and he is not. In the ukagaka I gave the feeling like the normal Gaster lie to himself that he is emotionless but he is totally emotional for the people he care about. Fell Gaster on the other hand, he is more logic and may or not feel but he is guie by morals and ethics most of the time.
Gaster Fell has an A plan with the brothers but if it fails, the plan B that SOMEONE suggest it's pretty dark.

I don't know, I didn't interpret his talking about plan B the same way. Instead of being spooked, I felt sad. Because the way he speaks about it… it sounds not as much like he'll gladly inflinge it to the others, but more like he'd gladly experience it himself. As if he'd gladly not exist anymore, or rather no longer bound the world he lives in. I mean, he's the nicest monster in the whole Underfell universe, constantly abused by others (punched, threw out of the window, stolen his lunch money…), it can inspire not very healthy thoughts. Even though he keeps being nice to everyone and his positive attitude, deep down he's not as okay as he claims to be. And thus, when he spoke with delight about no longer being linear, to me sounded like something close to suicide thoughts. Depression can manifest itself in different ways, and Fellplates!Gaster's too positive attitude can be one of them. (Think about Sayori in DDLC... similar principle here.) But again, that's how I interpreted his words. Maybe it's due to the fact that I feel empathy for Gaster in general, lol.

I like your point of view and maybe I'm too drastic. It's heartbreking how they abuse him and how he is so thankful for stay in the computer.
For me was like he is giving his last try for monsters to be good and if good monsters is imposible the most MERCYFULL action for a race that all the time hurt others, living in fear of don't show any weakness or any person will torture you or kill you. If all that suffering never existed monster and humans won't suffer anymore. No more pain, no more fear, a calming nothiness for him and the monsterkind.
(that can be a lie from that friend if the void in Fellplates it's similar to the one Handplates Gaster is if they not the same)
Fun fact I felt unconfortable and distrusful since he came (I thought this is how normal Gaster feels about me). When he said the B plan, I relax.

In my case, when he started to act out of character, my thoughts were "Hmm, looks like he's been smoking more than just cigarettes." XD Yeah, the first thing he had inspired me were drugs jokes! ^^"

Hahaha XD. In my case happened two creeppy and hilarious coincidense that I'm planning draw then soon now that I have the time. (They really justifided my freak out) No spoiler but basically I was worry that Handplates Gaster where with a fell version of me and Fellplates notice it!
I'm really curious what those coindidences were!
In any case, I think it was a nice experience. I mean, we all love our usual grumpy skeleton, but we do deserve at least once a year to hear him say nice things to us! ^^

I love this so much. This is such a great way of expressing ol FellGaster's worrying relationship with (implied to be) the Goopmonster and his awful, awful Plan B. The composition with him being spotlighted (as in the title, which is also a great pick) with the darkness creeping in just as the Goopmonster leans into the light is fantastic.
