I uh.
Finally got around to making myself an actual "fursona". Excuse the fact that for now, all I have is a hastily done headshot drawn during my cousin's convocation earlier today.
Dex is an androgynous[biologically female, but gender fluid] otter/tigress hybrid.
And no, I'm not ditching Link; there will still be tons of drawings for her because she IS one of my main characters. I just felt that in order to make her a more believable character/protagonist for my project that it'd be best to really separate her from myself. That, and I didn't really like having her represent me in one image and then not in dozens of others. And the whole Keer/my boything thing was pretty awkward too, considering that he has his own 'sona named Bane. Except Bane doesn't fit into the [five] storyline and it'd look really, really weird to have Link with Keer and then just go draw her with Bane.
Yeah. So. I don't really care if people still call me Link, or Geary, or Dex. I've always said its really up to you what you want to call me.

I was actually wondering when you'd draw this caus in your tut you mentioned your fursona being a tigress but I don't think I've ever seen one in your gallery, nice work again Geary!!

Well, the tigress character was Cait the Bowhunter, I have two pictures of her in my gallery, however my older account ~glennoar has a lot of pictures of her.

cool char, I created my fursona out of a story i wanted to do, I dropped the story due to I suck at writing them and my pictures aren't the best--ohwell.(gets back to the pic of Dex) its a nice piece, the green bandanna reminds of of Links, and I'll most likely still cal you Link due to I'm so used to it.

I just noticed the sketchbook binding on the side- totally awesome little detail there
I'm liking the markings, very nice looking. And the bandanna ties her to Link a bit, which I like. Out of curiosity, will she be considered part of the Calatona world, or part of a more "regular" world?

On a more serious note I think all characters, regardless of who and what they become and grow into are still parts of their creator. They are you dreams and ideas. Even if you don't lead the lives they do they are still you at their very core.
I also think I'll have a hard time thinking of you as Dex, since I've known you as Link for so long.
