Lol, yep. That basically is the epitome of Winnipeg... except it's missing ten feet of snow lol xD

Oops, I also meant to add that you caught this at the perfect time in terms of the stoplights. It's almost like they're all simultaneously telling people to keep out and that's why it's deserted, perhaps it holds some mystery? The dark clouds seem like they're making a path to the area as well, perhaps symbolizing something evil lurking in the city.
This is just such an awesome picture XD Where exactly is this in Winnepeg?? What's it like, if you don't mind sharing?

Holy late reply from me. Dx
This is on Princess St, just heading into the Exchange District. It's a pretty interesting, yet impoverished district with a lot of homelessness and the ilk. The historic buildings from the city's roots are pretty fascinating to look at and there's a few interesting stores in the area. And lots of bars too.
And thanks so very much for your comments, I really appreciate them.

I really adore this photo. I love rainy weather + city backgrounds together and what a beautiful angle, too! Very deserted and beautifully gloomy, esp. with those old buildings. Are you familiar w/ Silent Hill? Well, this photo reminds me of the apartment complex South Ashfield Heights in Silent Hill 4. I always found that apartment complex very charming, even though it was a game and have actually personally vowed to build an apartment like him. You've brought the complex to life for me in this photo, and it's great that there weren't any crowds around because then it wouldn't have the same atmosphere/message of isolation Well done

Were all the red stop lights done on purpose, or did you edit them?! either way... wicked.

They were more of a lucky shot rather than anything intentional.
Many thanks!

I love how empty this shot feels. Like the city is deserted. I've never been there, so maybe it is.. Anyways, a wonderful capture.
