DESIGN COMMENTS:Looking at the other entries I now feel mine might be a little too far from the originals, but tbh I really like these designs and am submitting them anyway.
And as the entry rules said, I am giving a Pokemon line I feel did not live up to their 'base concept' a makeover--namely, the Beldum-Metang-Metagross line,Β whose base concept was this: a basic pokemon continually fusing together over and over to gain power, intelligence, and bulk.Β First of all, I never got the whole concept of fusing together in the first place: why are the Beldum fusing together? How does that even work? And of course I never really got what the whole line was based off of aesthetically either so it was super confusing, and still is now.
So that got me thinking: What sort of concept WOULD make more sense? And eventually I got into power: if two bodies of enough power collide, they may overload, and create an entire new being. And this concept of overloading led me to think of batteries, and battery acid--which led to these guys.
If you look closely, you can see that the first stage evolution is in actuality composed entirely of head parts from the basic stage-- the heads of each of the two Basics split apart during fusion and become both a two-part mask and some shoulder-plates for the first stage. The bands holding the power cell of the basic together become a sort of belt helping the gooey plasmic body of the first stage solid. And of course the two batteries of the two basics merge together in the heart of the first stage, producing unimaginable power.
What happens naturally is the first stage, CELLOSIS, are gradually attracted during their lives towards large sources of power... and of course usually the largest source of power in the general area will be another CELLOSIS--so of course when the two meet, they absorb each other and cause a massive burst of energy, combining to form an even more powerful being, a gluttonous soul known only as GLUTASMA which will devour any and all energy in its path.
Additionally, to fit more closely with their theme of fusion and/or absorption to create new stages of evolution, I thought up a new ability, where being hit by a special attack would cause it to recover 33% of the damage done to it afterwards, if it survives, that is.
*new ability*: Zero Charge: when the Pokemon is hit by any sort of damaging attack, after taking damage it will restore 40% of that damage to its HP. (e.g., if it loses 100 HP to an attack, if it survives the hit it would then gain back 40 HP).
Pokemon (c) GAMEFREAK & associated parties. CELLOSIS & GLUTASMA (c) me.

I love these two, and frankly I'm very, very sad that they aren't official designs. I didn't even need to read your description at all to completely understand the basis behind these two. The one half of the mask turning bronze and the eye changing was a nice touch to offset the symmetry, and the jaw seemingly being solidified acid is a really cool idea! I also absolutely adore the basic stage's tiny little limbs poking out, then forming into massive gorilla-like arms. And there's a great attention to detail with their light sources, the basic stage's being much darker because the battery fills up its body much more than the evolve'd stage's batteries and belts. I suppose it's also because the evolved stage gives off more light, which adds to the appeal of such a simple thing like what's basically their shadows. Even the batteries inside their chests look great! You can understand what they are without them being super detailed or distractingly "oh this is a real world object" if that makes sense. I don't have many more words to describe how much I love these guys, great work!

wow.. very creative this is really cool I agree that people from the pokemon industry should make more creative pokemon like this... I also think the idea of the batteries I don't realy believe they used batteries in pokemon this is very well made though... now onto the texture thhe shading and coloring is very well made it looks like it took a lot of time... as I said before this is more creative the a lot of the newer pokemon...very cool....I don't really have much elseto say I don't all I can say is I love it e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

The evolution kind of reminds me of Chemo, the villain from DC comics - i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/iβ¦

These are really cool and I love that you can see the batteries inside them but they aren't over-complicated at all.

I'd say either Electric and Dark or Electric and Ghost since they have a (respectively) ghost and Frankenstein-esque appearance
