Description
sculpted from a contorted log of a wild prune (mirabelle). these log are all turned. so I followed the contorsion and -as the wood checks very considerably when drying- separated the piece in two nearly separate forms (the body and the veil). the body is polished, the veil remains with the chisel marks. the picture is a scan of an older hardcopy.see my other sculptures under [link]
