beautiful canyon floor of the Subway in Zion NP, Utah or Left Fork of North Creek.
We, my son, my son in law and myself, hiked the subway from the top, an 8-10h hike in the most beautiful countryside. Technically easy with only a couple of short rappels this hike is of extreme beauty. the water is pretty cold, though
The softer bedrock sandstone package was eroded more prominently leaving behind a tunnel shaped section. This shot was taken at the end of the technical section. To these pools you can come walking from below (about 3h one way).
