"Quit? Quit! And then what? Become another body in the long line of unemployment? Maybe suckle on the teat of free welfare? Quit! Yes, what a wonderful idea. And suggested by an immigrant, no less. How did I not think of that?" Arnljot leaned forward in her desk, glaring harshly at the refugee. "Have you ever been in a fight, Mister Brenden?"
Bree shuffled his paws uncomfortably. "Well... Not really. But I watched my friend get into one."
The coralshell turtle scoffed, angrily filling out paperwork. "Might as well tell that story, then. Go on! Enlighten me."
