I had seen EduartBoudewijn post this a while ago and although it's been more than a year I want to share my tf influences.

KND. operation : G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S.
Let's start with the beginning, when I was younger I used to watch TV (like everyone else) to pass the time when my friends weren't around..... To the point, I remember that for me it was a somewhat disturbing impression because the screams of the characters gave me to understand that the transformation hurt them especially when number 5 and 3 were transforming.
As I watched more times that same episode I began to notice more details, like that the animal they were transformed into was not random, it was because of the country of origin of each character.
That was my first approach to tf.
Honorable mention to the episode where a girl turns into a dog and then it was followed by more dog kids and turning number 5 into one.

The Swan princess 2

As time went by I started to like watching transformations but back then I didn't have a computer or internet access, so the only way to find transformations was to search and search in TV channels especially in series that dealt with magic. One of those days I randomly left it on a channel and I was watching an old man doing magic and I said "great let's see if there is any transformation" and my surprise was that there was not only one and most of them were my favorite animals, quickly this scene became my favorite to such a degree that I recreated it with other characters. This scene will be forever in my mind and of course I will recreate it with other characters.

Sabrina the animated series.

Unfortunately I didn't grow up watching the live action and only remember seeing the scene of two girls turning into zebras.
I never missed the animated series because I knew there would always be transformations there, and obviously my favorites were Hilda and Zelda especially Hilda and the scene I like the most is when Hilda is turned into a cow because thanks to her cows entered my "list of favorite animals for tf".

Superman the animated series, Mxyzpixilated

This chapter enters here because to be honest it took me by surprise, since at that time I wasn't a big fan of Superman... I'm still not a big fan... I prefer Batman... At the point I had only seen a few episodes and I had already concluded that the design of Lois lane was quite attractive, and suddenly poof Lois lane is a horse, I am super obsessed with turning female characters into horses, and not only that, then I see that everyone in that office is turn into animals! Uff, well, I wasn't looking for anything and I ended up finding gold.
Unfortunately I never knew the name of the chapter so I didn't see this scene again several years later.

Jackie Chan adventures, Mirror mirror

I know there is already an episode that is exclusively for the animaltf but I think I enjoyed watching this one more, especially because unlike the Monkey Jade episode, here she seems more concerned about becoming a mule and with the detail that the transformation is slower and that apparently she loses control for a moment and starts kicking, which reminded me of pinocchio, but actually it was Jade that made me add donkeys and mules to my tf list.

The worst witch

Here we enter with the schools of magic, Harry Potter had already appeared but at that time I did not have a VHS or DVD player so it was more frequent to see The Worst Witch.
As I had already commented in a previous post, I love this theme of magic with the inexperienced protagonist causing problems and of course turning her friends or herself into animals, in short, nice characters and a lighter atmosphere than Harry Potter, they made me wanting to be Mildred's classmate and be in the same school.

A classic, this is my favorite reference for a transformation battle, I know it's fun to turn your rival into an animal to ridicule him but it's more interesting to transform into one to face the animal that your rival transformed into, someday I will my own version of this scene

FTPD

This is one of my favorites, tbh I didn't see this series on television and I discovered it through clips on YouTube, like Lois Lane, Christine's design was attractive to me, so that from one moment to another poof now she's a horse, I loved her expression, most girls acted scared or simply weren't aware of what was happening, but she was really angry, you could see in her face that she didn't want to be a horse and then be turned into a pig and a mouse, she became throughout the whole series my favorite animals being the horse, the cow and the ostrich.
Now this one is special because thanks to FTPD I discovered the community of tf artists.
As I had already said, I discovered the series by clips on YouTube and in my attempt to find the complete series I came across this fanart:

and it was at that time that I came here to DA and saw the EduartBoudewijn's gallery and discovered that I was not the only guy who enjoyed seeing characters turning into animals, I spent a lot of time looking at the images of all the artists tf so just 2 years ago cheer me up to create an account and a year ago I started sharing my tfart.
And if you're wondering, I found the entire series and in Spanish (which is my native language) and I find it funny that Christine's voice actress has made the sounds of the animals she turned into

The witches

This is here because... I forgot to put it after The swan princess 2....
This movie obviously disturbed me because of the transformation of the children and the witches but I had to act bravely because I watched this movie with my cousins and they really cried.
I've seen a lot of fanarts recreating the transformation scene since from my point of view this is what someone would look like in real life transforming into a mouse.... assuming that magic exists...
I make a mention of the newest movie that although it is very disappointing, I think that the transformation of the girl into a chicken in the flashback scene of the grandmother is fine

And of course LWA will be here, I said it before and I'll say it now magic + inexperienced protagonist = you will keep me entertained for a long time.
LWA has a space in my heart as its charismatic characters and design made me a big fan trying to keep the fandom alive.
About the transformations, the protagonist Akko as the series progresses makes the transformation spell her main and most used, her favorite form is the mouse and elephant.
But the other little witches never use this spell anymore, making the fandom use their imagination to turn them into animals (myself included),
In short, LWA has great potential to tell good stories and thanks to the fandom they come true.
for my part I will use their characters to recreate scenes tf and I am working on a fanfiction comic of this but it is a long-term project.

These were my influences or at least the ones that marked me the most.
