Description

I really enjoyed all the heraldry in the new Soulbound RPG book, but while they all look pretty cool, not all of them follow heraldic rules. So I tried to create some new CoA and rework others to follow heraldic rules.
The first one is a coat of arms for Sigmar Heldenhammer. Its pretty straightforward. It combines two of Sigmars symbols. The hammer and the twin-tailed comet. The aurora in the crest references Sigmars position as Ruler/God of Azyr, while the griffin is commonly associated with Sigmars forces. Blue, White and Gold are also the colors most commonly associated with the forces of Order, Sigmar and Azyr.
The next one is a design for Fort Ignis in Aqshy. Ignis sounds very similar to Ignax, the godbeast of Aqshy. So I tried to represent that mythical beast on this coat of arms. A chained serpent in front of a Sun comes pretty close to Ignax “the chained Sun”. The crest is pretty straightforward. The Comet hammer to represent this stronghold of Order.
And last my redesign of Hallowhearts arms. They are pretty cool as an emblem, but not really heraldic. I chose to go with a canting design. The heart for hallowHEART while the aurora above again represents Azyr, and by extension the god-king Sigmar himself. Blue, white and gold is Hallowhearts colorscheme on the tabletop and the tower coming trough a cloud represents the huge spire that makes up a large part of the city.
