Description
A map of the Kingdom of Boree in 857 a.A. (World Map ) Boree is a constitutional monarchy in western askol. Its capitol is the city of Merow. It borders Vomva and Novo in the north, lazonia and Austium in the east and Porto in the south.
Mainland Boree is made of 4 regions.
Karola is the core of modern boree. Its a rich farmland between the two great rivers, Seviri and Ovido. It has the highest population of all the regions but they are spread out all across the territory, with most of them living in villages or small towns. Merow with a population of 200K is the biggest city in Karola.
To the north of Karola are the borderlands. Dominated by the Grad-Mountains and primeval forrest, this region isn't home to many. Only a few mining towns and military outposts can be found in this wilderness.
The southern most region is the Tyg. A group of cities founded by people coming from Borom, centuries before the arrival of the Soni Empire. The oldest and greatest are the three sister cities: Akita, Londa and Nara. People living in the Tyg today are a mixture of the second and the third wave of settlers. Which results in them having a darker skin than neighboring people.
Between Karola and the Tyg lies Portorin, also known as small Porto. A region with a great porto minority. This region has been part of Boree since its foundation but it had to be given to Porto after Borees defeat in the 20 years war.
This arrangement didnt lasted long, as the Gulas Mountains between Portorin and the rest of Porto made governing this region difficult and expensive. Later it was given back to Boree in exchange for some of its colonies on the coast of Borom.
Boree also controlles territories outside of Askol. The most prominent of them are the Surov Isles. A small island chain half way between Askol and Tolka. Its not really part of the rest of the kingdom but instead ruled by a Viceroy.
The text on the left side is the name Boree writen in Boreen. The script and the language is related to the kuviran of Brisbache, with which they share the same origin. They are both based on old sonian, spoken in the soni empire over 800 years ago.
