Description This is probably the best jellyfish photo I have ever taken . the lighting seemed perfect, all that detracts from it is the orangey reflection in the glass... argh.

Wow! I had no idea jellyfish were so luminous. Great shot, and glad you ignored the orangey reflection and posted it..

They aren't really luminous, as they are see through the lights in the tank make them appear to glow which is quite a nice effect.

WOW. The coloring/lighting here is fantastic. This wasn't photomanipulated at all? If not, that makes it all the more impressive. And on the orangey reflection--I don't think it detracts from the picture at all. Rather, if offsets the blue and makes the jellyfish seem to stand out more.

No this is exactly how it came off the camera, no manipualtion at all. I was so pleased with the photo after taking loads of blurrred ones. Thank you I'm glad you feel that way about the orange reflection.

Those blurred photos can be pesky. When I take photos, I always take between 5 and 10 of the same subject, just because I know that something will be wrong with at least half of them, even if it's something small.

beautiful the lightning is, as already mentioned, really good and it's really a great picture! you can even see the "structure" of the jellyfish o.o a well deserved title

Thank you. I'm so glad that this photo turned out so well as I has to take loads of shots whilst looking at them.

I agree, the orange reflections go well with the blue and add some interest to something that would otherwise be monochromatic.

The lighting is amazing, as well as the composistion. And even though the reflection is there, at least its orange, so it works nicely with the blue.
